Permatex® High-Temperature Thread Sealer • 1928-48 Ford
A high-temperature sealer that may be applied to threads on fuel lines, brake & power steering fittings, fill plugs and oil sending lines for leak prevention, to help resist loosening from vibration and withstand moisture. Contains PTFE Teflon, which is resistant to E10 ethanol fuels, coolants, and hydraulic fluids. This sealer helps to lubricate threads for trouble free assembly and un-assembly (up to 24 hours after application); unlike tapes that shred. Suited for temperatures up to 400 degrees F.
