Water Pump Pack Nut (Front) • 1930-31 Model A Ford
Water pump pack nut or rear cartridge. Eliminate packing using this pack nut with modern leakless seal. The washer pushes into the back of the water pump while the nut pushes into the front opening of the rear bushing bore. The nut has a sealed roller bearing within. This assembly allows for a even rotation and removes the necessity to grease the rear bushing of the water pump. A new shaft is recommended.
Zinc, 1930-31.
NOTE: When using these leakless nuts, your shaft cannot have any pits or grooves. The bushing bore in your pump casting must measure 1.015/1.016" in order to use this kit.
